7 projects by Salvation Army World Service Office

In response to the earthquake The Salvation Army (TSA) initially provided emergency relief in the form of clean water, food, sanitation, medical care and temporary housing. Currently, TSA is reconstructing and strengthening programs for more than 26 schools, serving nearly 12,000 children; strengthening health outreach programs for a clinic in Delmas 2 and building the capacity of local communities to identify their own development priorities and plan projects that will be funded by TSA. We are also in the process of rolling out a large-scaleprogram for families focused on permanent housing, vocational training, economic development and agricultural production that aims to help families rebuild their lives and to encourage them to settle in rural areas outside of Port-au-Prince.
